Updated: Turntable Tuesday: Choons Awards 2009
The Choons Awards are specially dedicated to Malaysia's small but close-knit dance scene. It seeks to recognise songwriters, producers, composers, DJs or anyone who has been involved in constructing tunes in genres like house, breakbeat, drum and bass, trip hop, funk and hip hop.
Organised by Bionic DJ Academy and Take Off Records, the Choons Awards includes the prestigious Producer Of The Year as well as other online voting-determined titles like Club Of The Year, Resident DJ Of The Year and Best PA Of The Year. In addition, there will also be an album released in conjuntion with the awards containing 12 selected tracks, which will be mastered in the UK.
Those who are interested can record their tracks (as a Project File and WAV format) within the respective genres and submit it to the following address:

Wondering, there are nominees like Dj Fuzz ( Mixology Dj Academy), students from Excessive Records, Sound Box, etc. What you meant by “people who close with Bionic or loops get chance on it,” Pretty funny tho…

we have check out the website and gonna vote for our favourite,but unforturnaly its only name their own so call the best artiste in the website,people who close with Bionic or loops get chance on it,what the hell is this ?
what a shame for this kind of event or so call award.
its should be fair and not vote on the net.
