Festival Watch: Summer Sonic 09
Oooooh. The lineup for Japan's uber music festival Summer Sonic 2009 happening from 7 to 9 August is now up. Looks like one of JUNK's most requested bands in our Feedback Friday: Who's on your 2009 concert wish list? post is playing the festival–Paramore! Straight off their US tour with No Doubt, the band will head to Japan for Summer Sonic. We're hoping they will announce SEA dates while they're at it.

Its definitely good. but still seems a bit weak compared to last year's, or the year before's lineup. Hopefully they haven't announced all the bands yet.About one no doubt or pearl jam away from beign awesome though
and to think just a few decades ago, the japanese came to our country, decapitated our grandfathers, raped our grandmothers, pissed on our children and now we are wishing we were born japanese to see a concert. how karma works in the world is truly mind boggling.
