Britpop giants Oasis slipped inside the eye of Singapore's mind on Sunday night, and found an audience still madly in love with those lads.
The Mancunian band, fronted by the crop-topped Liam Gallagher and the white pants-donning brother Noel, put out a setlist at the Singapore Indoor Stadium that was essentially identical to almost every other night that they've played on their current world tour. But that meant plenty of "moments", like Liam bluffing the crowd that "The next song is called 'Some Might Say'" before proceeding to play 'Wonderwall', or Noel giving shout outs to people in wheelchairs.
Whether the band will return to Singapore for a third time (this being their second after a 2006 show) is highly doubtful, since rumours abound that the band might stop touring after this one. If that's the case, then nobody present that night would have too much problems being an active part of rock 'n' roll history.

i was there! i was there! i travelled 330km to be there! muahahahha...
Boybands and gay singer like archu isnt popular in singapore already. Its so yesterday .. oh if u want yesterday kind of groups go to malaysia. They still worship lame groups like backstreet boys and archuleta
it's nice to see so many thousands of singaporeans really having a great time at a GOOD LIVE CONCERT, not needing to stalk and make life difficult for artists at airports :P...
respect the private lives of stars, but have a good time watching them.
i don't blame the teenage girls at david archu acting like possessed demons though. there's a bigger teenybopper/heart throb market here. boybands come here first before they play in europe/US to grow their fan base.
someone like archu going to sg is so passe already...
