Rockin’ For The Environment @ KL, MY, 16-22 Apr

Malaysian musicians go all out to save the world next week, with a series of events that come in line with Earth Week 2009.

Rockin’ For The Environment is an initiative by Go International Group and its community project Doppelganger Open Mic, aimed at raising vital funds and awareness for conservation and environmental education oriented NGOs in Malaysia, culminating in a two-day festival.

At all events, you can also sign up for the orangutan adoption scheme, which costs RM180, and receive an orangutan adoption pack, a certificate, newsletter, photos of the orangutan baby and a short story about the orangutans' history at Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. In six months, adoptees will receive an update on the progress of the orangutan and more photos.
