American Idol 2008 third runner-up Jason Castro is working his way to get his debut album done later this year. Signed under Atlantic Records (under Warner Music), the talented Castro won the hearts of many at the last American Idol with his performance of Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah' (which eventually made Jeff Buckley's version of the song hit #1 on the iTunes chart). The Texas-born, hippie-looking Castro also managed to charm the citizens of USA with his rendition of 'Over The Rainbow', which topped the charts a few weeks later.
Working with Grammy Award-winning producer John Fields (Lifehouse, Switchfoot) and acclaimed songwriters like Kara DioGuardi (Kelly Clarkson, Jewel), Martin Terefe (Jason Mraz, KT Tunstall), Sacha Skarbek (James Blunt, Jason Mraz), Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams) and Jason Reeves (Colbie Caillat), this 20-year-old heartthrob will definitely mesmerise more people with his blue eyes, heart-melting smile, guitar and gorgeous vocals!
