SNM: Stellarium
"A thousand suns exploding in your ear"; that is how Singaporean nu-gaze quartet Stellarium decribe their own sound. And they do come close, mind you. Fronted by AZ (of Disco Ditto), Stellarium pick up where 90s shoegaze left off: in a fuzz of wailing yet rapturous psychedelia.
The band are poised to release something sometime this year, so for now you can whet your appetite on a compilation from the Supersonic Sound Fest (2008), available on their MySpace.
