Murder on the dancefloor

An innocent bystander was “clubbed while clubbing” at TAG presents Sounds Of The Universe: A Depeche Mode Black Celebration at Barsonic, Zouk Kuala Lumpur, last Friday (15 May 2009). Albert Ng, who runs the blog Glaring Notebook, was handed a sharp blow to the right side of his face during the show.

Initially thinking that one of his friends had mistakenly raised a sharp elbow, Albert stumbled into the bathroom to find a bloody head and someone else who had also been hit. When Albert reported back to his friends, he found that even one of them was hit in the groin.

You can see the gruesome injury (a two-centimetre long and two-millimetre wide gash) sustained by Albert on his blog, of which he has this to say: “…bloody freaky that there are people out there doing this, whether intentionally or not! Please, dance responsibly! Take off any sharp accessories or bling that could bloody cut bloody wounds in people's faces alright? And if it is intentional...show yourself, chicken. If you want to teach me a lesson, let me know what it is first because I don't even know what me or the other guy did!”
