Belle and Sebastian’s Stuart Murdoch has a new musical/film project called God Help The Girl, and has made first single ‘Come Monday Night’ available for free download.

The project is essentially music set to a yet-to-be-completed film, and Murdoch has been working on it for the past five years. It will feature a whole bunch of newly discovered singers including main vocalist Catherine Ireton, plus a few Belle and Sebastian members and a 45-piece orchestra.
