As if Singapore couldn't get enough of female singer-songwriters this year, American vet troubadour Aimee Mann is scheduled to perform at the end of August.
The 40-something singerita released her seventh album @#%&*! Smilers last year, and has been touring the world in support of it. She comes courtesy of Greenhorn Productions, who previously brought in other singeritas like Rachel Yamagata and Ani DiFranco, not to mention Stars and Death Cab for Cutie. This is sure to provide alternate acoustic solace for lads and ladettes who might be more into that sorta stuff rather than Chris Collingwood and the other rockin', growlin' emotrons of Baybeats, which will be happening at the same time.
