The guys behind ‘Fatal Flaw’, South Jordan, might not be your cup of tea. But judging by how huge OneRepublic and their super duper mega hit ‘Apologize’ have become, it is bound to be someone’s. The Indiana-based band - we say "Indiana-based" because synth man Mike Chan is very much Malaysian - have just signed a management contract with Union Entertainment Group, who have in their stable radio-friendly giants Nickelback, Hinder and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler.
If you haven’t heard ‘Fatal Flaw’ then the OneRepublic comparison is very fitting. You get the feeling that the boys will chew up airwaves with their affable and easily digestible pop rock. Would people really make YouTube covers of your songs if you weren't gonna be famous? We don't think so! If in doubt, look at the career trajectories of Daniel Powter, James Morrison and The Fray. You can check South Jordan out on MySpace and Facebook, but we’d advise you to head straight to their official website, where you can download five of their songs for absolutely free!
