The memorial service for Michael Jackson was on TV last night, and for those who stayed up to watch it, we want to know which was the most touching or rousing moment of the whole thing. For those who didn’t, it was inspirational: about 11,000 people filled up the Staples Center in LA, and celebrity family and friends, like Magic Johnson, Brooke Shields, Smokey Robinson, Mariah Carey, Lionel Ritchie, Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson lined up to pay tribute to the King, in prose or song.
Here’s Mariah Carey doing ‘I’ll Be There’:
Stevie Wonder singing his own ‘Never Dreamed You’d Leave Me In Summer’:
Usher doing ‘Gone Too Soon’:
‘We Are The World/Heal The World’ (the one singing the latter is Judith Hill):
And some words from the most righteous of brothers, Rev. Al Sharpton:
So tell us what you thought of the memorial.
malik may allah bless you!
RIP kiddy fiddler
two words for u:
P. Ramlee
when he's alive, people diss him with this and that. when he's dead, people started praising him. wth.
should've praise him when he's alive. not making accusation that he was a child molester and etc when he's not.
hail to the Motown founder!
The speech by Motown founder was the best!
Black Powahhh! Brooke Shields was the only one that gave a heartfelt speech.
and the jacksons exploit michael once again. btw rev sharpton > rev run
