UPDATE: MTV World Stage "Live In Malaysia" @ Sunway Lagoon Resort, PJ, MY, 15 Aug
We've been holding onto this little nugget for a while now and it feels so good to finally tell you what's going on. Malaysia will host the Asian leg of the MTV WORLD STAGE series on 15 August–courtesy of Sunway Lagoon Resort, XPax, Hong Leong Bank and, of course, MTV.
Update (23 July): MTV WORLD STAGE "Live In Malaysia" will be an outdoor event featuring UK band Kasabian (it'll be their first time performing in South East Asia), The All-American Rejects and local band Estranged, with other performers yet to be announced Boys Like Girls, Hoobastank, Raygun and Pixie Lott!!

- Take part in the local on-ground events offering VIP passes to the event! MTV will host this one-off special event at The Curve in Mutiara Damansara, PJ on 1 and 2 August between 12pm and 7pm. Along with games and collectible premium giveaways, auditions will also be held offering the wildest, loudest and most passionate music fan the chance to gain access into the most coveted spot at MTV WORLD STAGE “Live In Malaysia”: the Mosh Pit!
- Concert passes are also up for grabs at the MTVAsia WORLD STAGE website from 15 July to 7 August. Viewers need to simply answer two questions to go into the draw to win tickets!
- Junk is giving away exclusive passes from Monday 27 July onwards, so be sure to check back then!
The MTV WORLD STAGE "Live In Malaysia" concert will premiere on MTV Asia on 28 August. It will also be broadcast in the following countries:
