The ExxonMobil Campus Concert series kick off again this season with Timbre Musicfest On Campus at the National University of Singapore. But it’s not just for the students; attendance is open to the public, and it’s absolutely free! This edition will see performances from Timbre bands like Shirlyn and The UnXpected and Rockafellas, as well as Israeli folk troubador Miki Gavrielov.
As if a free concert isn’t good enough, you will also get food and beer on the house, and stand a chance to win a MacBook Air, a Canon Powershot S5 IS and an iPod Touch in a lucky draw. So, free music, free food, free beer, and free gifts worth thousands of dollars. The powers that be must really not want you to stalking the grounds, talking to yourself, pretending to be an intellectual/revolutionary, reading Rimbaud/Nietzsche and trying to get laid (it doesn’t work).
