Trent Reznor quits Twitter
It looks like Twitter has lost its first big name, as Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor has deleted his Twitter account, presumably because of the personal attacks directed at him.
It's a pity, because Reznor's tweets were often some of the best. Through the site, he ridiculed Chris Cornell's (shitty) new album Scream, announced NIN's tour with Jane's Addiction and used it to raise money for a heart transplant for a fan. Unfortunately, it was also a place where fans started to insult his relationship with fiancée Mariqueen Maandig. Reznor started referring to the site as a place where "idiots rule" and over the weekend, he deleted it without posting a goodbye tweet.
Oh well. At least Darth Vader still hasn't deleted his account. NIN hits Singapore and the Philippines in two weeks. Click on the links to find out how to get tickets.
