Zach de la Rocha unleashes his new band

We're completely stoked about ex-Rage Against The Machine frontman Zach de la Rocha's new band. Channelling the old RATM vibe and sound–just like how the fans love it–One Day As A Lion is, as quoted on the band's MySpace, "both a warning delivered and a promise kept".

With only two of them in the band (de la Rocha on vocals and keyboards, Jon Theodore from Mars Volta on drums) the lack of members don't mean a thing when the voice is still defiant and powerful, and the soul still acts as a passionate protagonist for the people.

We're peeing in our pants just anticipating the new EP, due for release under Anti-Records on 22 July.
