Peter Hook, the former New Order and Joy Division bassist, will be in Singapore next week for the Fuel party. And the man does know his parties: he's written a book on Manchester's legendary club The Haçienda (once called the most famous club in the world), the place in which acid house sprouted wings and flew.
Haçienda: How Not To Run A Club comes out October 5, the same day that its accompanying compilation album comes out, Haçienda Acid House Classics, which will feature Phuture, Fast Eddie, Adonis and of course, New Order and Man Ray (not this dude, but Hook's alter ego).
