Green Day are coming to Singapore!

Remember when circa ten years ago you could only lure Really Big Bands to these parts with gold-coated carrots? Well, we possess those carrots now, bitches. Green Day will be making their first South East Asian appearance in January 2010 when they descend in all their largeness upon Singapore!

Man, have they come a long way since Dookie. They are, arguably, the Biggest Rock Band In The World^TM or at least Bigger Than Coldplay^TM. Regardless of whether the polished sound of 21st Century Breakdown rocks your boat, or if you're more of  Dookie person (or neither) you absolutely cannot miss out on Billy Joe, Mike and Tre in Singapore. Things like this don't happen often, and you want to be there, to be able to tell your grandkids that you were.
