Killeur Calculateur: This decade's quintessential sexy mofos

Killeur Calculateur (or affectionately referred to by fans as KC) are this generation and decade's quintessential sexy mofos of Malaysian rock.  At least, we say so. They also have that big chunk of attitude (or just plain balls) to get away with it. KC are playing the TOPMAN party come 13 November, and it's your chance to catch a whiff of these post-punk super fiends in all their glory for the first time ever at Zouk KL (scroll down to find out how to get an invite!). We have a chat with vocalist/bassist Zamir before their debonair debut.

How did you guys get together?
Thanks to a random decision to form a band, the band was born. It's the same like how a political party would start out. But all of us have been good friends from way back.

What's a funny story you can tell us about Killeur Calculateur?
Some kid confidently told a close friend that "Valley Of The Dead" [the name of KC's album] is a band from Singapore.

What's your all-time favourite track, album or artist?
'Bombtrack' by Rage Against The Machine.

What inspires you creatively?
Nur Fazura.

What can partygoers expect from Killeur Calculateur at the TOPMAN party?
A hard party and a new song.
