Saosin CONFIRMED to play in Malaysia!!!
Do you want Saosin to play in Malaysia?
We are hearing rumblings of more acts touring South East Asia in January 2010, one of them being California rock act, SAOSIN. Junk wants to know how you guys would feel about getting them over to Malaysia for an ALL-AGES show.
1) Do you guys think Junk should bring them here?
2) How much would you pay for tickets? Give us a ballpark...
3) Should there be opening acts?
SAOSIN fans, this is your time to come out and tell us you want them over here. If we get a huge response, we'll definitely try and make it happen!

We're still floored by the overwhelming response. Thanks for the (sometimes profanity-filled) feedback. :) We're definitely on this like a fat kid on cake, believe me. As you guys know, bringing in international acts to Malaysia can be tricky (see: permits, sponsors, money). We'll update you guys as soon as we've sorted the kinks out.

That's right! Thanks to all your feedback (and some begging) in our Comments section, we knew we had to make this happen. And today, we can tell you that the deal is done and SAOSIN WILL BE PLAYING MALAYSIA ON 1 FEBRUARY 2010.
Thank you all for your feedback and we hope to see you and your friends at the show! More deets on venue and tickets coming soon, so bookmark this page!!! In the meantime, let's all pray to the god of rock that the authorities will let this show happen.

how many singaporeans in here? i heard they will be playing full set in KL. last time they only played 30 min opening for incubus and their sound was shit..headlining in kl will do justice! i dont want to watch another 30min set for muse...let s all go!

2) RM75 is cool
3) opening acts are quite important to warm up the show.. let there be some bands with good portfolios (reff: vids, songs, showmanship).. at least stuff such as ep, albums etc.. i without a doubt to nominate OH CHENTAKU, LMB, ASTHALIN, THE 84.. bands such as OBS, POP SHUVIT are great but we need to see other acts which are merely as good as them but never gotten the chance to prove it..
