Hennessy Artistry's The Global Art Of Mixing party went off without a hitch over at Bukit Kiara Indoor Arena, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last Saturday (19 July). The milion-dollar-budget event welcomed over 3,000 peeps to the grounds.
The event was grand. The set up at the entrance was impressive and inside, the Indoor Arena had four elevated platforms–each themed Paris, Miami, Shanghai and KL–as well as a free flow of cocktails of the same name. Amazing Race Asia 2's Pamela Chong and 8tv's Belinda Chee introduced Pop Shuvit onstage. The boys put on a great show, singing hits like 'Mara Bahaya', 'Freakshow' and 'Jump'. The crowd went nuts and Pop Shuvit's hardcore fans were rocking the moshpit.

Up next was Taiwan's Machi, who came out with a bang towards the end of Pop Shuvit's set. They later introduced their only female member, Melody, who belted out her solo single 'Tian Sheng Yi Dui' and did a rendition of Rihanna's 'Umbrella'. We preferred Rihanna's version though (let's chalk it up to bad monitors ok?).

With barely anytime to breathe, MTV VJs Utt and Taya sauntered onstage to introduce the (literally) big act of the night, Flo Rida. He came up with a bottle of champagne in hand and began to douse the entire front row audience as he began the words to 'Elevator'. He played a bunch of songs from his album ('Roll', 'Ms Hangover', 'Priceless') but everyone was obviously waiting for 'Low', which had the entire arena singing along to "She had them Apple Bottom Jeans, boots with the fur...."
After the madness, DJ Latin Prince took over to continue with the auditory rump shakers and surprised many with his skills for playing all kinds of genres–even Benny Bennasi's 'Satisfaction' got onto the playlist. Malaysia's VJ Callen provided some interesting visuals on the big screens while podium dancers wiggled their way to some male guests' hearts.
Hennessy Artistry's The Global Art Of Mixing event had an overall good vibe. The free flow all night certainly helped too. Scroll down for our video!
