UPDATE: Festival Watch: Rock The World 9 (Malaysia)
The lineup for Rock The World 9 is out! And it's a pretty diverse one. There's Zee Avi and Monoloque mixed up with misfits like Kugiran Di Tepi Pantai and Robot Asmara and old bands like Pretty Ugly and John's Mistress making a comeback. The organisers have moved the big production from Stadium Merdeka to Sunway Lagoon (which has suddenly become the venue of choice for big music events) Bukit Jalil Stadium, Carpark A. According to the flyer, there will be three stages and more than 60 acts slated to perform at this year's event.

its rock the world concert la..not indie the world kot or pop rock the world ke.. so what kalau siorg letak search or wings or exists..cuma eock diorg lain sket la..xkan korg x dgr guns n roses, aerosmith or sapa2 lagi la..stop calling people kampung la..korg igt mat salleh kat US sana fikir pasal kita (ASIAN) ke? kalau band asia jgn harap la k mat salleh nak tgk..kalau x pasal rockers2 dulu2 mcm radhi OAG,, saturnine, Butterfingers, aru n the gang, PJ n shah alam clan (luv me butch, seven collar t, john's mistress), korg igt lagu korg ada ke radio nak main? tau x betapa susahnye nak carik platform utk korg semua.? korg nasib baik ada radio station mcm xfresh,hitz,fly, yg support band2 skrg, kalau dulu la.. music takde kualiti mcm :setengah" band skrg, kau igt radio nak main ke? kerajaan pun x support rock underground scene kat sini.. so respect la sket, x kira la mana2 organizer kat lua tu, radio rosak ke, kami the gig ke.. u guys did the right thing by still organizing shows for our local bands eventho all they did is complaining.semua org buat event nak untung, betul x guys. kalau x sapa nak bagi pekerja2 diorg makan..ada yg x tido, crew2 suma kerja siang mlm dgn budget yg tight from sponsors yg pentingkan brand diorg tapi diorg still buat gak...i did enjoyed rock the world yesterday man eventhough hujan lebat.. setahun skali lepak tgk band2 malaysia perform ok apa..?bukan slalu..so all the haters. U guys sux man.!!
