The thing about Modest Mouse is like purging after having too much cheese. Still refreshingly quirky, but little doses of them are still always better, like enjoying only ‘World At Large’ and ‘Float On’, and nothing more. This EP features unreleased tracks from Good News For People Who Love Bad News and We Were Dead Before The Ship Sank, with standout tunes like ‘The Whale Song’ and ‘King Rat’. Other than that, it’s the same old blue cheese. If you have never liked Modest Mouse, chances are you aren’t going to get converted when it comes to this one either.
