Break out the guyliner and teen angst! Placebo will be playing a show in Malaysia!
We hinted about this earlier in the week, but now we've got confirmation on this uber wicked concert. Placebo will be playing in Malaysia before heading to Singapore. Local support acts include DJs Hackeem Elektrischer, Twilight Actiongirl and singer Ikwal.
Did I hear a "Killers? Who/what/wtf/who cares?"

it was well wicked. 'nuff said.
My Japanese is better: actually the sound system is really good. The sounds was perfectly like the recording but BETTER! were you at the side?
I feel ripped off for paying RM158. When I purchased my tickets at Rock Corner in MidValley, the cashier told me the RM150 tickets gave a better view, so I blindly bought those. Ptui. I went downstairs and got a much better view even though I wasn't in the mosh. What a great way to reward early birds who rushed out to buy the tickets and paid the most expensive price.
Sound system sucked balls too. And so much for the free t-shirt.
At least we got to see Placebo perform live, huh? I know we're supposed to be "grateful" that Fat Boys brought in Placebo, but they made so much more money ripping off the real fans.
Thanks very much to Placebo nonetheless, for an awesome night. I'm sure they would've given an equally good show no matter where they play or who brought them in :)
but they didn't play trigger happy.. so frustrated :(
