You've probably heard by now that Spider-Man 4 has hit the great kaput and now Sony Pictures is rebooting the entire franchise, bringing Spidey back to high school. We've heard the JOE FREAKIN JONAS wants to play Spider-Man, and quite obviously the reaction is, "WTF??. Not in a million years!
After rounding up some names from the office folk here at Junk (and some KLue and TiC), here's our top 5 picks for the next Spider-Man.
1. Barack Obama: Hey, if he can save the United States...

2. Joseph Gordon-Levitt: The (500) Days Of Summer heartthrob could definitely pull off a high-school age Peter Parker, and he has major acting chops to boot. Plus he looks like a cross between James Franco and Heath Ledger, RIP.

3. Zac Efron: Who suggested this? The amount of vitriol which would greet this from Spidey fans would be immense. I'd pay to watch just to see people rage at the screen.

4. Logan Lerman: The actor also known as Percy Jackson let it slip at a press conference that he was one of the contenders in the running to play the new Spider-Man. While he's been back pedaling on that statement, it's likely the son of Poseidon would be a fair bet for the next Spidey, having the experience and looks for it.

5. Taylor Lautner: Yes, yes, I know he acts in Twilight. Yes, he dated Taylor Swift. Yes, he has some major abs going on. But let's look beyond that. Taylor Lautner definitely has fairly wide emotional range, is good looking, and looks like he could pull off the teen dweeb who wears spandex by night thing.
Who do you think should be the next Spidey? Hit us up in the comments below!
Lets see, Who do I think should be the next Spidey? Hmm? UMM DAVID HENRIE!!!!! He is probably the ONLY good ACTOR on Disney!
I would nominate mawi as one of the contender..seriuosly!
Regardless of who's chosen to be the next Peter Parker, I have officially declared that I will boycott the next instalments of the Spider-Man franchise (sheesh, these people are really Twilight-ing everything now). At least ada Tony Stark ok lah kot.
