Watch out for that exclamation mark in Indonesian pop jazz band Ecoutez!’s name. The band definitely lives up to it by delivering loads of upbeat funk grooves and songs that make you want to bob your head like a goof. Lead singer Delia does well playing the enchanting chanteuse, singing about wanting to be loved, being loved and loving. The lack of variety in song subjects doesn’t really matter though; this is the kind of music where it’s all about feeling good.
