Have you seen a human spiral?
Found this off Franz Ferdinand's blog. It's pretty old, but quite a marvel to watch. Watch the YouTube vid and see how American electronic musician Dan Deacon leads the audience into a human spiral at the Electric Picnic arts and music festival in Republic of Ireland. The fest happened in August this year, and hosted acts like Sigur Ros, Sex Pistols, The Roots and of course, Franz Ferdinand.
It's a bit slow to start, but wait for the three-minute mark when the action begins. So who wants to initiate a human spiral at the next concert?
The best part about this is that you could be way at the back at the start of the concert but after circling, end up right in front! If you're curious about Dan Deacon, here's the vid of his hit 'Crystal Cat':
people get hurt in a human spiral? puhleez that's practically harmless. it's just like line dancing but connected into a circle.
u should learn crowd dynamics. it's fun. hee.
it's fun to watch but people could get easily hurt. plus, as u could see the circling only last for a short while coz people wanna see the main act on stage instead of circling around. but it would be cool to have that in a small club.
Ooooooooooh....it's just like a larger, friendlier version of a circle pit....
