Van She
The Saturday right after Zouk KL gave clubbers a sneak peek of its new look hosting Simian Mobile Disco on 25 October, the same core group of electro lovers returned the weekend after to throw fists and cam whore for the return of Heineken Green Room and its electrifying guests Van She, Dexpistols and LapSap.

LapSap
This time Zouk KL's upstairs VIP area was (almost) ready and open, and the air-conditioning was literally blasting onto bodies, making it almost impossible to sweat–thus keeping everyone's energy levels up all through the night (good thinking).

Dexpistols
The event started sharpish, and latecomers were left stranded outside Zouk as the club was packed in by 10.30pm, which was when Van She came onstage for their live band set right after LapSap's deck warm up. More fondly remembered for their Feist '1234' remix, as a live band Van She seemed laidback. But when they took over again after Dexpistols' bassbin pounding set about midnight, Matt Van Schie and co. were a different sort of musical monster, fuelling the floor with hard enough tunes to keep everyone bouncing.

MC Vandal did a good job on the check one-twos, making sure the crowd showed appreciation for every act that night. LapSap took over again around 2am and satisfied the floor with the usual LapSap anthems. Blink was super pleased–he was singing and dancing all night and even bodysurfed at one point.

Plenty of beers were spilt, at some points the air con was freezing and it was hot outside queuing to get in, but it was a good night nevertheless. 'Twas a big return for Heineken Green Room and we wonder how they're going to top it at their next instalment.
