One listen to songs by the band such as 'Jie Tuo' and you will unmistakably recognise the beats as those that belong to one of the run-of-the-mill metal bands out there with the pig-squealing and screaming. The difference is that these guys sing in Mandarin–not that it really matters, as it's not that easy to decipher the lyrics to metal songs anyway. Lang's catchy beats and guitar riffs do catch on and make you stay to listen to more. The band also lists Dir en Grey, Incubus and Deftones as among their influences.
