What's happening to Laila's Lounge?

We know a few of you are just perplexed about the situation with Laila's Lounge–we've read your comments on the Rock The World post. We too were lost when the band announced onstage that it was going to be their last gig when they played at Xfresh's X-Gig in JB last Saturday and U.O.X. Play @ BB Plaza Rooftop on Sunday–without lead singer Hadi present, who apparently was stuck in Ulu Kelang.

Talk of Laila's Lounge disbanding following their announcement has been rife ever since, so JUNK decided to get the word straight from the horse's mouth. This is what the band had to say about it:

"Actually, we're not breaking up but Hadi our vocalist will quit the band soon for some reason. But four of us will continue playing. We will figure out how to make this happen. But I believe there is always a way if we find it. Just need support from friends and people like JUNK. Really sorry for what has happened."

Sigh... Oh, well. We'll just have to be contented with listening to the band's newly released EP Kosong (check our review on it here).
