Junk is looking for real readers to contribute to our magazine and website! E-mail your stories, pictures, doodles, letters, ideas and all manner of nonsense to editor@junkonline.net. If we like what we see, you might just be plucked out to be featured in Junk!

Write
If you love writing, send us your writing samples! We're always looking for people to review albums, gigs and concerts; cover parties and events; write opinion pieces; or just dig up info on pop culture topics like fashion, technology, gaming, toys and anime, art and design, books, film and movies, and anything else that gives us goosebumps.

Take photos
Is your Lomo or DSLR practically attached to your hand? Are you a self-described cam whore? Whether you're a pro or amateur, a studio professional or just using a point-and-shoot, we'd love to receive your photos! If we like your pics, we might just feature them in the magazine (The Back End or Editor's Note) or as a splash header on JunkOnline. If you've got cool gig pics, you can also send them over to be featured in our Gallery.

Draw/Design
Got crazy hands and can't stop doodling? Love to draw or sketch? Or are you obsessed with Illustrator or Photoshop? Send your random art to us and get featured in the magazine's I Heart Art pages!

Junk is always prowling the streets for talent, whether it be in music, art/design, photography or just plain old dynamic journalism. People just inspire us! We're always looking for the same bright spark to join our team and drop wisdom, fresh ideas and different perspectives on our (firm) asses.

WEB PRODUCER INTERN (updated 22/12/09)

Are you one of those hopeless internet addicts who strongly believes there's a future in wasting your life away on the net? Well, we have a cosy little spot in our office for you to waste your life away online (and while you're at it, learn about work... and stuff). 

We're looking for a web-savvy intern to join our web team as a Web Producer. What does a Web Producer do, you ask? We're not really sure either, but here are some of the skills and talents we're looking for: 

• Has experience blogging
• Must be on Facebook and Twitter (bonus points if you're on more social networks)
• Basic Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills (proficiency in Dreamweaver & web design experience would make you a stud amongst applicants)

You will be involved in developing and executing online campaigns, managing online communities and be involved in the process of building impressive websites that would make your grandma go pink with pride!

DSTNCT is looking for a Design Intern! You must be proficient in the basic design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop), strong consideration will be given if you are proficient in 3D design software (3D Max, Sketchup or Blender).
