MTV Asia Awards 2008 in Genting Highlands, Malaysia!

We've got confirmation that the MTV Asia Awards 2008 will be held in Genting Highlands, Malaysia!!! The MAA have never been to Malaysia before..Singapore had previously hosted the awards with Bangkok being the other country hosting the MTV Asia Awards/MTV Asia Aid event in 05.

VJ Utt said in his blog that they'll be heading to Genting for the awards....so there. straight from the (uber hot) horse's mouth. As for dates, we're not too sure but we hear it maybe happening in early August. We also hear some pretty big names are gonna be there.....

Again, with Summersonic in the same month, it won't be a stretch to assume that some of the artists on the Summersonic playbill might be at the awards show. I think PARAMORE is a possbility!! hahaha *that's just for all the haters**
