Coldplay Music For Euro 2008

Coldplay and sports broadcast dudes ESPN has established an agreement that songs from the new album "Viva la Vida" will be used for the upcoming European Championships football (or 'soccer' to you yanks out there!) tournament.

The tunes will be used mainly for advertisments and such, but don't be surprised if you hear Coldplay booming from the stadium PA systems for pre-matches.The tournament is held once in every four years and this time it will be hosted by Switzerland and Austria.

The Coldplay plan seems to be a good marketing move, cos its the only way that England could get involved in the tournament!
